We need some more info,
Did you get the source to install? Did you get the repository to install? Is it only a problem with the addon? What error did it give you? What addons are you trying to install, and from which repository?
Did you download the zip and install from there?

I have installed 17.3 and uninstalled it so many times. I have installed it thru Windows store and by downloading it from Kodi.tv. I have used this since Kodi 16.1. I have it (17.3) on 3 android boxes and three Windows 10 computers. No problems, Now I got my sisters Lennovo (3.1 ghz, 4 gig memory, 320 gb hard drive) and installed Kodi 17.3 and uninstalled it to do it again both with Kodi download and Windows apps. This is what happens, I type in a source, you see it post in the source box. I go and click addons then go to the top and click on the opened box. I click on open zip file, it goes to the list then when I click on any of the sources I put in the box pops open with the source name and ** below it and nothing else. No plugins or anything. Can you help?

What are the sources you are putting in?
sounds like they could be empty or the source was misspelled.
