Too many Wi-Fi connections?
« on: August 20, 2017, 06:26:04 am »
I have our main unit (m8) hardwired. Streams pretty well for movies and some live tv. PPV (UFC) seems to be a different story with buffering. Wondering if it is server issue or too many Wi-Fi connections in the house. Maybe about 6. Thanks.

If the M8 is on wire and the built in wifi is off why would there be an issue with wifi? The M8 is getting data from the router on the cat5 cable....RFI would only be bothering devices that are USING wifi.

More than likely it's a server issue. Try it at a off peak time of day and see if it works OK.

Thanks for the info. The problem is, can't wait ppv off peak time. Guess it's just something that comes with the popularity of the add-ons. Thanks.
