Covenant problem
« on: September 27, 2017, 03:59:42 pm »
I've set up Kodi/Covenant, I can see things to watch etc I can pick a provider, I get a loading circle and then I get the first frame of what I want to watch and Kodi crashes to desktop

Any ideas?

I'm running...

Windows 10
NordVPN (although I get the same error if this is on or off)
Kodi 17.4
Covenant 1.1.16

Temporarily disable your antivirus and firewall, then see if you get the same results. If it runs good, you will need to set an exception for kodi in your antivirus and/or firewall

Hi Tony, thanks for the suggestion but no joy

Switching Kasperskey off, caused Windows firewall to prompt to allow Kodi but it still crashed and switching Windows firewall off also made no difference

Sounds like maybe a video driver problem. Try updating your driver and see if that helps

if after checking your video driver still does not fix the problem, you should take alook at the kodi logs and see what the last thing it was doing before the crash... as well theres probably a crashlog file with the main kodi.log file... usually the crashlog will show the running stack and help show what caused the memory dump...
